As a lover of essential oils, a trip to the the finest Lavender farm in Tasmania is such a treat for me!

Best Time to Visit
The flowers are in full bloom from mid-December to mid-January (summer). Enjoy the lavender farm at its full potential during these months.
Things to remember before going:
Prepare AU$ 20 for the entrance fee if you're 17-year old and above visiting from December to January which are considered the farm's peak season. Otherwise, entrance is free. By February, the Lavender will already be harvested.
Wear comfortable footwear. Expect your shoes to get soiled and turn a bit brown. The soil around the farm could get muddy.
Wear summer clothes, a hat to protect your face from the sun and a windbreaker jacket in case it gets really breezy. Tip for dressing up: put on some whites or other colors that would stand out among a field of purple flowers or wear something purple too if you want to blend in!
Put on some sunblock.
Exploring the vibrant fields of a lavender farm in Tasmania under a clear blue sky. If you are allergic to bees then prepare for it because there will be a lot of them around.
It's a pet friendly place, so don't leave your furry friends behind!
Be ready to take lots of photos. Bring a tripod so you can capture your group photos conveniently.
Guests are not allowed to pick the flowers but they do have a shop where you may purchase all sorts of Lavender from the flowers, to oils, soaps, lotion, home scent and more.
You may bring your own picnic blanket and enjoy some food from their cafe and setup your picnic in the beautiful farm.
If you choose to travel light, don't worry because you won't get hungry while in the farm. Grab snacks and sip some coffee while enjoying the view of the Lavender fields from their cafe.
Don't miss their ice cream truck and try the pure Lavender ice cream! It's one for the books! They accept card payment.
This beautiful farm is at the Bridestowe Estate
located at 296 Gillespies Rd., Nabowla, Tasmania, Australia 7620.
